Alliance One presents Shadow Era League: Become the first Shadow Era Master!

Introduction:
Have you ever dreamed of becoming the very best? Do you have the skills to use any hero class and beat any hero class in shadow era by exploiting their strengths and weaknesses? Do you have what it takes to become the first Shadow Era Master? If yes is your answer for all these three questions, prove it by collecting all 10 shadow era badges!

In the world of Balor, there are 10 gyms for each hero class waiting to see what you’re made of and these 10 gyms are defended by some of the fiercest shadow era players out there including the reigning Shadow Era World Champion! The list of gym leaders are shown below:

But before you earn the right to challenge these gym leaders, you have to go through the other players who are also hoping to be the first Shadow Era Master through Stage 1.

Stage 1 - Knockout rounds:
The tournament will start off with a 64 man single elimination format. It will be a best of 5 match where each player have to use a different hero in every game. The 32 players who will make round 2 will play another best of 5 match with their bracket opponents and they cannot reuse a hero they used from round 1, they still have to use a new hero every game. The 16 players who will make it to round 3 will then move on to the badge collecting round since they’ve shown their mastery over a plethora of heroes and fought through other shadow era master hopefuls.

For round 1:
If you win 3-0, you should remove two heroes of your choice for 4th/5th heroes so you can't use those two for round 2.
If you win 3-1, you should remove 1 hero of your choice for 5th hero so you can't use that hero too for round 2.

For each round you have to type the heroes used on every game when posting the result.

Stage 2 - Badge collecting round:
The Beginning:
You will start off your journey by picking your starter hero from this pool (Logan, Jericho, Gravebone, Dark Claw, Lance). The 16 players who made it to this round will declare in this thread the hero they will start their journey with (i.e. If you choose Logan as your starter hero, you can only use Logan for your first gym challenge). You can have at max 3 heroes on your pool of heroes and earning them is discussed below.

Earning badges and additional hero for your pool of heroes:

-You can earn a badge by challenging and defeating a particular gym leader. Post the challenge in forum and in TG. Post the results in forum/pm me. Gym challenges can be done in ANY order.
-The gym leader will decide whether he wants a best of 3 or best of 1. When you challenge a gym leader, you have to declare the current heroes in your hero pool. The gym leader can only use heroes in his gym’s hero class.
-If it’s a best of 3 match, both you and the gym leader can change decks/heroes for games 2 and 3 at your discretion.
-If you beat the shadow mage gym for example, you will earn a shadow mage badge and you have the option to add a shadow mage hero in your pool of heroes. If you already have a pool of 3 heroes, you have to replace one of your heroes because you can only carry 3 at a time.

Trading:
You may decide to trade one of your heroes to one of the other 16 players from this round if both players want to do the trade. You can only trade once for the entire round. If there are trades that happened, report it in this thread.

Elimination:
Badge collecting round will last for 3 weeks after the 16 shadow era master hopefuls made their starter hero choice. When you lose 3 gym challenges, you are eliminated from the tournament and your total number of badges at the point of elimination will be your final badge count.

Determining the winner:
The first player who will get to collect 10 shadow era league badges will be named the first Shadow Era Master! Rankings will be determined based on number of badges and if there are ties, based on how fast they earned those badges.

2nd: 2 prize packs + 2 premium packs + 2 LL packs + 10 "Pick a Card"+ 500sc
3rd: 1 prize pack + 1 premium pack + 1 LL pack + 5 "Pick a Card"+ 250sc
4th: 250sc

Starting date for Knockout rounds:
Approximately 3rd week of January or earlier depending on sign ups. Each knockout round will last a week.

A1 AkaTjein – Rogue Gym Leader
Can you fight a shadow? Can you strike before a strike is coming? I hope you have a good hold on your valuables as they disappear only to strike you! From the dark, where you don't expect it, that's where the Rogues will strike.

A1 Burnout1985 – Elemental Gym Leader
How can you fight pure energy? With your brute force? Ha! This will be good, a Champion stands in your path, will you cower or will you fight? I'd run home little warrior , this is no place for you!

Practiced in the arts of spells, master of the allies they summon, quick to strike or long drawn out deaths they stand with their leader, Doom! Challenge him, embrace your doom!
