    Soothjaw, savior of Wulven... with some help.

    Hello all!

    I have fun, as I'm sure many of you do, in playing around with Wulven from time to time. They are such a cute little tribe. Always there to let you know they exist but don't amount to much. Unless you get that nasty opening hand and drop fatties like no tomorrow. Anyhow, I would like to offer up a change for one particular card to help generate some draw, Soothjaw.

    Here is my (EDITED) proposal:

    Soothjaw
    Cost 4
    2/6 Unique

    Text: Steadfast. When a friendly Wulven Ally is killed, shuffle that Ally into its owners deck and you draw a card.

    (Removed the health loss)

    A living Wrath of the Forest. A much better option than his current state where only combat damage draws a card.

    I feel that this is an appropriate, and needed, change to help facilitate the Wulven tribe into competitive play. It should also help with more possibilities for all Wulven ally themed decks which could possibly bring Tactition back into play.

    Yes ur idea of removing combat damage is good but don't u think the conditions are little too much As u said the tribe isnt competitive,weak against mages and sometimes priests and the ally will be targeted as u said before
    I just want to understand ur idea more, pls

    No steadfast no hp loss like everything else tho might need to be 3/5 still but I like 2/6 most 4cc with 2/6 stats have decent abilities and arent under class restriction

    I went with steadfast and 2/6 in spirit of Stardust Extractor. I figured it was ok since it is still “Unique” and Stardust Extractor is not.

    Your modified original post is still confusing. I think you removed your proposed health reduction from Soothjaw's ability, but are still talking about it as though it was in your current proposal.

    I think Wulven tribe is tricky to balance. Remember when Deathpack Shaman recycled itself? Your change could effectively bring that back.

    Hmmm... I’m not sure I agree to that extent.

    For me though, tho tribe is always scraping the bottom. If they get overpowered for even a little time, it would be an interesting change. I am sure we could always find a balance. We always do.

    I believe if Riphide will get its proposed change, Wulven tribe will get that much better there will probably hardly be any need to touch its other cards. Soothjaw already proves he can be strong as he is now.

    Wulven can onlynwin one way, with allies. Thy are incredibly weak to ability damage and Soothjaw does not help with that at all.

    That is why I propose the change. Give them a better chance against all the direct damage out there.
