Hello all. I've been looking through forum trying to find some info on what the OP has written here. Here are some of my qn's:
    1. What to do when u get a player who is running a 80-100 card deck? I presume this is called a mill/stall deck.
    2. I met 2 guys who were doing this yesterday. They both suddenly disconnected bfr I managed to finish them off.
    a) is there a reason why these ppl dc from rated game right bfr losing?
    b) does the winner get less gold or xp?
    c) does it affect your rating in any way when ppl disconnect?
    3. Is there any way to report players who are intentionally doing such?

Sorry for the nooby questions & thx for any replies.

Note all 80-100 card decks are mill/stall. The famous among those being MOONSTALKER and SHERVOX ( both universally hated ) But you find large decks common with VICTOR and GARTH, both very competitive. Occasionally the Priests and Mages like to load up too so they can clobber you with their spells. There's not many weapon based Heroes with large decks Then there's the Elementals where because of such a rich array of cards and recycling healing ability it's hard to resist not trying your hand syncing some combinations with them. But they're not mill/stall except for PRAXIX but he seems favoured with smaller decks these days. I like laying large decks if I play the twilight tribe. Works well with them

    1. Depends on who you are. You can play the if you'd like (I tend to) but as Alien Fungus says not all decks that big are necessarily Stall decks (I tend to exclude Mill, because its not the same as stall anymore thanks to Praxix and the like). If you don't want to play, bring up the menu and select "Concede" and you will forfeit the match and it should end for both players at that point.

2a. It's better for them to use the built in Concede button but it all generally happens for the same reason. Continuing to play is a waste of time to them, in their mind they have lost and would rather move on.

2b. No, its the same amount.

2c. It shouldn't, I've sometimes had it show "defeat" when this happens but I don't care about rating so I never confirmed if it actually dropped. I don't think it does.

    3. There is no reason to report people doing this. I'd wager a good number of them don't realize that closing the app could make the other player wait. Even if they were doing it on purpose, it would be very hard to prove and doesn't actually conflict with any rules.

Well I for one will concede when the game is hopelessly lost. No reason to continue if there is no way to win. But I wouldn't disconnect except for something like a phone call or something of that nature. Disconnected when you plan on playing another round is foolish since you have to wait for the game to reload where as you could have just given up the game and moved on.

Sometimes I close the app when I have to go very quickly, but otherwise I try to concede

Hey gondo... Any idea if there could be a bug of this nature? A player (player 1) concedes but the game doesn't resolve instantly for that player's opponent (player 2) instead it says "player disconnected" and player 2 has to wait for the game to time out.

Or do you think it's the case that this only happens when a player legitimately disconnects / closes app?
