Tournaments with foils

Hi all and thanks to read it and give your opinion.
The problem of tournaments in that the entry fees, as fixed by Wulven, are really too expensive for the majority of players but they can't lower it, at least for meltdown : 60 cards reward worth about 400 SC.
The second problem is that cards and shadow crystals win in rewards are already win by players in other ways.
There's no motivation to participe in tournaments as they are defined actually.

Tournaments should acomplish 2 things :
- give interest to players with exclusive rewards.
- give money to Wulven by given less total rewards that entry fees.

And the solution for me is to give, as reward of participation or/and win, a new money exclusive to tournaments, with which you can buy foils directly. And not give the 60 cards in meltdown of course.

Let's assume that, like in physical shop, a foiled is 2 times more expensive than a classic card. Let's call the new currency diamonds. A classic card which value is 100 gold will be 100 diamonds in foiled version. So 1 diamond = 2 golds.
We know that 1 SC = 30 golds = 15 diamonds.
So, for a 8 man tournament, let's fix the entry fees as 50 SC per participant, for a total of 400 SC. Wulven take a comission of 25% to redistribute 300 SC which in fact is 4500 diamonds. For the 1st to the 8th, for exemple give : 1500 ; 1000 ; 750 ; 500 ; 250 ; 250 ; 150 ; 100.
50 SC = 750 Diamonds so the 1st 2nd and 3rd have a return on investissment with bonus for 1st and 2nd. The others have a reward to not disgusting them to invest SC and have nothing in return.
In addition, each victory should grant a 80 golds reward, as usual.

The only downside to development in that you must create a diamond merchant, a copycat of the existing one with buy ; sell but with diamonds instead of gold.

We've been considering several different options about expanding the buying/selling of foils, but haven't decided on anything yet. There will also be event tickets to help with tournament entry fees, these can be won in the single player campaign when it's out.

Can't wait for the Single Player campaign... Want to play a tourment, but i use all my SC to refill my cards that get wasted with my many buy>sell>buy>sell>buy>sell>buy-actions
