    Card Idea: Cursed Priest

    So I have had this design in my head for a while. I'm posting it now.

    Name: Cursed Priest
    Type: Shadow Ally
    Stats: 5/5
    Casting Cost: 5cc
    Ability: When Cursed Priest deals combat damage, your hero takes 3 fire damage. If Cursed Priest is in play and is unable to attack at the start of any of your turns, your hero heals 2 damage.

    Flavour: He prays when he is not fighting.

    I like the flavor of the card but would you consider changing his second ability to at the end of your turn if cursed preist did not attack your hero heals 2 health

    I was thinking it to be a counter for attachments like Crippling Blow or Captured Prey or Hymn. So you have to deal with a 5/5 beast or else (if you throw an attachment at him) the hero will heal damage.

    Isn't 5/5 under statted

    I thought of a 6/6 for 6cc but it doesn't go with the name of the card (he's a priest). Also, at 6 health he might be a little too much to deal with.
    If we make it a 6/5 for 5cc, that's just crazy.
    So I really don't know what stats will fit him to be a big threat on board as well as to bring out his ability in the best way. 5/5 seems to be the best stat option to me though.

    Seems brutal. Both good and bad. They could play aggro and just kamikaze board into him to finish you off. This looks potentially more dangerous than Minotaur. So should be safe at 6/6

    5cc for 5/5 is definitely low stats, especially when you consider he deals damage to your hero when he attacks. Minotaur is 6/6 for 5cc, and he only deals 2 damage to your hero when he dies. Crystal Titan is 5/5 for 5, generates shadow energy when he kills things, and he isn't used ever. 4cc for 5/5 and that ability seems fair.

    What you say makes sense. And I also like what JPM said above. How about this:

    Cursed Priest
    Shadow Ally
    5cc
    5 attack / 6 health
    When Cursed Priest deals combat damage, your hero takes 3 fire damage. If at the end of any of your turns, Cursed Priest didn't deal combat damage, your hero heals 2 damage.

    Is this fair? Gives the owner of the card more choice to heal or attack.
