    Lightning Quarry and retroactive triggers

I have a question/complaint. Why doesn't lightning quarry retroactively restore my resources despite having dealt electrical damage to an opposing ally on my turn? The card text is quite specific, and I met the conditions within the parameters of my turn, however I drew into the quarry later during my turn hoping to be able to use it, but it didn't behave as I expected it to. I believe lightning quarry should activate retroactively, because I met it's parameters during my turn as specified.

Nm, I wasn't paying close attention to the 'when' keyword. Close post.

    Hi. Thanks for your edit.

I know you don't need an answer, but I think this is a good opportunity to highlight that we use "When ..." to specify that the card is waiting for a trigger to fire and we use "While ..." to track whether a condition is being met (which could refer to events that happened before the card was in play).
