8 - talk to member of Pan to see if panning is right for you

The Canonical Sock of PAN

The Noble PAN member must wear a noble sock, the other sock can be anything you like. The orthodox sock is a knee-high white sock with black stitching made from the wool of your favorite sheep and woven by a loved one. If you don't have a sheep or a loved one, they will be provided for you. The secret stitching pattern is the best way to recognize a fellow PAN member. It is customary to show off the sock but generally not necessary.

We hereby acknowledge the Canonical Sock as part of the traditional footwear of PAN and introduce it in the Members equipment.
