i will throw my hat in the ring as well. the time zone thing is great but not for me. i just pop in and out, which is ok for spot moderating. if thats ok, then great. if not, i understand. i do think several moderators are needed.

ive been playing over 5 years and i am a moderator for the SE telegram chats, for reference.

There was a TG room for many of us who voluntarily tried to keep the in game chats fun and productive. We still do that when we are on.

I think Frost would make a good moderator. He is an active member of the community and he has drive.

I like the idea of those chosen to come together and create some sort of schedule. Aiming to have at least one moderator online at any given time would be perfect

Hi I'm DK Killa. I would like to gracefully enter my application. I'm currently on gMt -4 or eastern time zone. I feel that I would be a great moderator as I have vast knowledge in leading. I have held supervisor positions for the military as well as working on military computers, which provides some bonus knowledge that can be shared with others. I am the leader of devoted Knights guild. Also, I monitor others that are playing shadow era. Thanks for the opportunity and may everyone have a nice day.

You are welcome together everyone can achieve more. And I agree with the other there probably should be multiple moderators to help cover time zone lapses. I'm here to help any way I can. Thanks so much

Oh no, I would recruit for TJ exclusively.

Actually that's a good point. I believe that when moderating especially in the actual game any moderator should check their guild tag at the door.
Sure we could answer questions about guilds, direct players to the proper sections on the forums, even tell people what guild we are in. But imo, recruiting would be a no, no! Why you ask? Because it would be , as you said, abusing a power and responsibility to the entire SE community.

When Caitlyn0 and I brought TG here, we asked Gondo first and got a yes, we kept it very neutral , no guild had a better standing or special treatment. That was understood by all who ran the rooms, others thought it looked bad having A1 members as creators of the rooms. We appointed members from every guild as mods and solo players as well still that didn't seem fair to some.
Gondo and SamJ had a simple solution. They created the "Official SE rooms". We agreed and closed the older rooms so that officially SE was neutral.

That's the way it would have to be for any moderator in global chat. At least that's the way I would want it.
