    Poison Gas vs Holy Shield

BP renew vs xoxoxo - Turn 14

Xoxoxo's turn started, Holy Shield disappeared, Poison Gas' 1 dmg got cancelled but not the 1+1 dmg from the two Incendiary Curses.
Shouldn't PG's dmg happen at the same time as IC's?

Hi there. Sorry for the delayed reply - I missed this question.

DOT (damage-over-time) effects like poisoned and ablaze on a card are considered to belong to that card and so their place in the Standard Resolution Order will come when that ally/hero gets its chance to resolve, which will be before Incendiary Curse which is an item that comes later in the SRO.

But what about when there are two effects related to the ally that should happen at the same time?

If at the start of the turn an ally has a DOT and an attachment that both want to resolve at the same time, the DOT takes priority (which is why the poison damage was blocked before the Holy Shield came off). Similarly, if the ally has a passive ability that wants to resolve at the same time as a DOT, the DOT takes priority then too (so a poisoned Bad Wolf would take the 1 poison damage before healing his 1 damage). In other words, DOT effects happen before the affected card's passive abilities and any attachments.
