Maybe Wulven can change the way of card releases to 4-5 cards per month, that would be 48-60 cards per year!
You always have a minor change in your meta and people don't have to wait that long.

Urban Rivals also bans cards by players vote temporary for 1 season turn (1 week), that is also pretty cool.

Gondorian, I have a great idea; while you guys work on the important stuff, just implement a 2 vs 2 game option, and it shall appease the masses. And when I say "masses" I just mean me. I'm easily appeased.

    Let's make it happen

EDIT: who wants to be on my team?

    100% correct, UR is different.
I just want to show the way they release cards and keep the meta alive with their temporary bans. That gives the players the feeling the game is alive and binds them.

If Wulven just release 5 cards/2 month or maybe 10/3 month the players would like it. Just do nerfs for extremly OP cards in that time. After a set is total released, there should be maybe 3-6 month with no release to see big balance issues.

The nerfs/buffs now for 1/3 Lost Lands just feels like a delay tactic for me... than nerfs/buffs after 2/3 Lost Lands... after complete Lost Lands... long-winded!

I love this game and Kyle/Gondorian seem to be good dudes and all, but Jesus H. Christ ..... 67 cards a year is torture. Maybe i'm in the dark here, but does Wulven make other games or something that takes up the programmers time? I am just trying to figure it all out.

I know Wulven has a reputation for being slow but this is kind of ridiculous here. It's kind of the same old thing:

    1. We get a morsel of cards that holds the players for awhile
    2. Players use the cards gleefully for a year or more.
    3. Then players get bored and ask when the next cards are coming out
    4. Players receive a "non-answer" or some other vague answer.
    5. Players wait and grow more dissatisfied.
    6. Leets and long-time players begin bashing complaining players.
    7. Players receive another "non-answer" or some other vague answer
    8. Players wait and grow more dissatisfied.
    9. When the dissatisfaction grows to a fever pitch....

It's because Wulven is an indie company with a very small number of employees. They just don't have the manpower to create something of quality AND deliver it in a time-frame many other games do. Wulven at least tries to create something of quality with what they have, even if a lot of players would probably disagree. That being said, I'm not saying the current status-quo is a good thing, because its not and never has been. It's something that has plagued Wulven for a long time now sadly.

As a passing comment; while I'm looking forward to this new patch of changes, I really hope that after part 2 hits some features are looked at. This game (and the company itself) could really benefit from releasing Tournaments or other such features that offer a difference in kind for its players. I think it would be well worth the effort, but maybe that's just me.

Yes, I understand that Wulven is an indie company. Yes, I understand that they have a limited number of programmers. I have been playing this game a for a long while

We at least agree that the current status quo is not the best. I have stuck up for Wulven in the past many times. I also just played like 5 games in a row of SE so I still love the game. That being said, it's not that they don't meet their time frames, it's often that there IS NO time frames. Not that they could meet the deadline they set and all that.... but I would love to know what the hell is weighing down the process.

The rest of the cards are done except for balancing (and maybe art). Well shit, how much internal balancing can they do? 6 months? A year? Then they are going to release the cards (eventually), then rebalance them all over again. I would even settle for the cards without the art so we can have something new to work with.

It's only been five months! I'm sure that feels like forever to some people, but I would not call that a long time. It's flown by for me.
