I milled fat Garth with rush Loest. Twice.
I stalled Moonstaller with Rothem.
I played Ter with monopoly cards and 4x toll bridge and managed to win a tournament.
I cast Portal and Kris in one turn and lived to tell the tale.
You would think that rush would win, but maintaining a high rank adds to score. Rush loses out on wins due to disconnect, in turn not increasing rank for getting their best starts. Hard to maintain high rank when so many quit. So the game itself kinda dictates a slower start if you want to reach high rank. Once at the top there are fewer disconnects but still more than you would think.
I don't see a way of changing this, short of having someone manually checking matches to validate, and that will obviously never happen.
After cards are dealt, if the player leaves and there above a 200 rating, then opponent should get full win credit. It is affecting the game that the developers are letting people quit out cause of bad deck building which is part of the game.
Happened to me 3 times today.
15 minutes of wasted time.
Btw, if you play t3 and t4 Here be Monsters, your opponent is justified to quit early and you can't be upset about it.

Sorry for the slow response on this, but I believe I have news that you will be happy about:
As of 3.14, when there is a game that is considered "too short", the following things will happen: the loser of the short game will lose Score (and rating as before); the winner of the short game will earn gold, XP, rating increase and Score. Please note that you will not lose Score for losing a game that was not considered "too short".
These changes are to discourage people from early-quitting when chasing a high Score and also reduce the annoyance for people who don't get a proper game when their opponent does quit early - the gold/XP and rating gain is at least something for you, even if you didn't get to have a proper match.

For new players or those who wish to grind for Ex points and gold, that's great news. I personally have enough (yes I've spent my money and supported the game, God knows I can't win that much). And I'm happy to support SE.
But this all hinges on one thing, when is 3.14 coming? And does it include new cards? Or just the changes on the ones already out?
