So, rush mage seems like a good deck for a noob, like you said it's forgiving to mistakes, can make a noob to win more skilled players, doesn't require a lot of thinking when played and is really depending more on luck that skill. But this doesn't mean that skilled playes and newbies can't play this kind of decks, of course.
    That's a scrub. Not a noob.

There is a small difference between noob and newb. Noob is a derogatory term usually referring to those who think they know everything but in reality really suck. Newb refers to players who are really new (who also suck because they are new, but don't pretend to know everything). The two terms are often mistakenly used interchangeably.

Mage decks are neither for newbs or noobs. They are for everybody.

I see "noob" as someone who just always wants to take the easy way out of things, and just like to cheese their way to victory.

While for "scrub", I see as a someone who refuses to actually try and get better at a game, and blames the game itself for their own shortcomings, and constantly nags about game mechanics.

Modifying an old adage; Noob is in the eye of the beholder.

It's more like a common umbrella-term, meaning different things to different people. Sometimes, it can even be a term of endearment...

But anyone that beats me in a match is a total noob. Fact.

I think last time we played i rage quit and threw my phone in the toliet. I had to get a new phone. I then climbed up 16 flights of stairs and contemplated jumping. Both because i lost and because i needed to buy a new phone. Doc but me on a regimen if 18 different meds after that which seems to help although inkeep drooling in my new phone So apparently per your logic i am not a noob correct?

At least i think that was you mr mystery ign.

Well, if you got 18 different prescription-meds and you share it with me, then you're definitely not a noob. If you hoard the medication all to yourself, then you might be a noob.

Opiates or heavy pain-killers and you are my hero. But if all you have is ibuprofen or Tylenol, then no thanks
