Got requests for a no rating cap beginner’s tourney so here it is:
Sam’s Beginner’s Tourney 2
REQUIREMENTS:
1. NO RATING CAP.
2. You need to have been playing SE for no more than 6 months.
3. You need to have a telegram account. https://web.telegram.org
4. You need to reply “IN” on the forum thread with IGN and telegram name as well as date you joined the game.
5. No alternative accounts allowed!
6. You need to be able to meet the tournament's SCHEDULE.
7. 40 card decks (hero included) as minimum.
REWARDS:
TBD depending on participation, standard prizes for either 16 or 32 participants. Prizes approved.
RULES:
1. This is a standard Bo3 hero-lock tournament (meaning whoever wins 2 games proceeds to the next round) with decks locked for each round.
2. The first 32 players eligible to participate will join the tournament (the rest will be put on the reserve list). If we only get enough entrants for 16, then will run at 16 with excess in reserve.
3. I'll work in this NOT as a permanent checker of all the games, but as an intervention gal. Meaning that I will be a referee, should that be required by one of the participants of the game in question.
4. A sync error will have to be replayed unless a player concedes.
5. A frozen game will have to be replayed unless a player concedes.
6. If a player is disconnected during a game, the victory goes to the other player unless BOTH players agree to replay or a player concedes.

Semifinals complete by 5/3/16
