hi guys
recently i just return to this game
and im feeling really excited right now because of the lost land update
so yeah , anyway...
Today, im going to show you my "FUN" aggro boris deck, called the "KILLMOMETER"
now the reason why i call this deck "killmometer" is because this deck is deadly fast! (for me atleast)
Usually this deck win around 9th or 10th turn (if the opponent sucks it only takes 6 turns)
i actually managed to reach 180-ish in ranked match using this deck , maybe it can go even higher...
maybe.....
anyway , pro and cons (according to me)
Pro :
-early play
-has a board wipe
-doesn't really need a lot of resource (usually i stop at 6 resources)
-easy for beginner
Cons :
-very risky (this deck actually care more about the allies rather the hero itself)
-deck out really often (still use 39 cards deck though , so the combo can work more often)
-there's a very low chances of winning if the draw abilities doesn't come out on early game
*i actually already uploaded this deck on new player thread, but some guy actually suggest me to put this thread on a strategy section (thx btw)
and so i did , and i did few minor changes on the deck
Anyway , here's the updated deck list :
**HERO**
BORIS THE SKULLCRUSHER
has a high health which make him a good hero in this deck , also good for beginner player
**ALLIES** (20)
4x Kristofferwyld
(really good for a first turn play and "finisher" by using some pump)
4x Birgitteskullborn
(to avoid "dealing damage abilities" and protecting key cards in the deck)
4x Dirksaber
(has an ambush ability which makes him a really good fighter and especially for the weapon deck)
2x Yari bladedancer
(transfer some power to a "dying ally" and kill pesky ally like magma jackal)
2x Aldmor interceptor
(has haste and an awesome ability , especially when borris skill become unuseable (against heavy creature)
2x Aldonthe brave
(good pumper , only play 2 because he's a unique)
2x Fleet-footed messenger
(hopefully can search some card in the deck and has a haste and lot of health)
**ABILITIES** (19)
2x Road less traveled
(drawer spell , it can bounce freeze,disabled and pesky units)
4x Valiant defender
(key card, to protect your ally from enemy ally)
3x Crippling blow
(slow down an enemy and has a low cost)
2x Bad santa
(a good early drawer ability , because you gonna cast alot in this deck)
4x Blood frenzy
(key card of this deck , you're going to cast a lot of ally in this deck )
2x Overwhelm![]()
(really good for game finisher and a board wipe especially with your horde of allies)
2x War banner
(good pumper , especially with aldon)
TOTAL : 40 CARDS DECK
cards removed on previous version :
-2 shrine of negatia (sometimes useless)
-2 retreat (road less traveled is way better)
-1 smashing blow (usually end up in the sacrifice pile)
**STRATEGY**
the strategy in this deck is just simple : PROTECT YOUR ALLIES AND KEEP ATTACKING (well,mostly)
DONT WORRY YOUR HERO'S LOW HEALTH , JUST CAST AS MANY ALLY AS POSSIBLE AND SWING FOR THE GAME
(yeah , its not easy as it sounds)
why? because this deck use a lot of pumping and low cost allies , so in this deck mainly focused on quantity of ally and pumps
So here's my usual strategy
for the first turn 1. Cast kristoffer for some early damage.
2. Cast birgette , she can be useful later for defense and attack *if you have pumper of course*
in the second turn 1. Cast some cost 2 creature
2. if your enemy cast an early thick ally (brutalis,etc) , Use Valiant defender (PROTECT THE ALLIES)
3. use bad santa if your enemy has at least 5 cards on his hand , because if the plan works , usually you only have 3 cards
in the third turn 1. USE BLOOD FRENZY NO MATTER WHAT (if it doesnt come out , FIND IT AS FAST AS YOU COULD!!)
2. Cast some cost 3 creature , and remove some enemy pesky creature (using bladedancer/aldon + kristoffer , etc)
for the 4th turn and up 1. cast and keep as many ally as you can
2. again , PROTECT YOUR ALLY
3. watch out for board wipe! (tidal wave,etc)
4. there's a high attack and health ally threat? CRIPPLE IT!!! AND FOCUS AGGRO!
FINISHER : When you control at least 5 allies and some pumper. use overwhelm to board wipe enemy board and swing for the game
