I say Zal especially because he can continue to damage you with his ability, which also helps him get rid of any allies you might have left that could help you swing back. I love playing Soul Reaper

because, well, who doesn't? But it isn't cool as the opponent because it is such a massive swing.

I want to add.
Almost all other cards are techable. Soul reaper is almost impossible to counter (you have partial counters in wizent prayer, spirit warden and the new racksul location. All solve the problem only partially) )

This is why into the forest is almost tied (again you can't remove it, only use nocturnal advantage or battlefield damage like nova)

gonna sound cliche... but Garina road... while an awesome concept has a future impact on too many potential card designs (read: any 3+ cost human ally), and even if balanced in the current set CAN cause severe balance issues in any future set. Basically it's bad to have a card that's quite so deep in the "Design around" type.

While there are some NPE cards or 'bad cards' that I think need errata, I don't feel they're ban worthy - this card is the closest to it though (it's not currently OP, thanks to the later drop table, but it will strictly limit future design - which imo, is what should really make a card bannable rather than modified)

. I love using the card myself, but it gives a ridiculously high potential value for its cost. If it had been designed for any other set aside from CotC I think there's no way it would allow you heal for so much, would be like heal 1 per ally, or 2 per ally to a max of 10 or something, cause potential 20+ heals are pretty nuts.
