btw why is there a rating cap for new players? We have new players in SL who can join but have higher rating. New Players don't equal to noobs imo

Having a new but good player will cause npe for those who are new and not good. I get the impression this is for those who would like to try the competitive scene, but they are not good enough for other tournaments to be worth entering yet.

I get the impression that the organizator of the tournament is a good player. So, it looks like a training pool for only one person, before they can step on the truly competitive scene...
And sometimes rating isn't a measure of the skill btw

LOL, I must have beaten you to compel you to write such a post. This is a thread for people interested in playing in my tournament. For new players that would like to have a chance at getting past the first round. And thanks for your comment about ratings BTW. Who knew? Between time playing SE and rating, I thought it was a decent way to come up with new players and have a competitive tournament. But thanks for your wonderful insight and comments.
