Reducing Threbin Deck

Hi Community,

I've came back to SE some days ago and played 10-20 matches with the deck posted by anakarIsia and really like the idea and the concept, but I would like to add some arcane direct damage as well as healing and draw abilities and was thinking about this cards:

Allies:
4x Guardian of Unaxio
4x Devoted Knight
4x Sabreen
4x Justicar Alysia
Abilities:
4x Bad Santa
4x Forgiveness
4x Healing Touch
4x Focused Prayer
4x Smite
4x Righteous Strike
4x Tidal Wave
3x Mass Purification
Items:
4x Scriptures of the Righteous
4x Rod of Smiting
4x Wizent's Staff

All of these are very useful from my point of view, but 60 cards are too many. So the question is: what would you reduce? I think 40 is not possible with all the cards I wanna play, but max. 50 would do it fine i guess.

Id remove bad Santa and either smite or righteous strike. Then play a bunch of games to see which cards are used and which are mostly sacrificed.

I'm by no means a pro in deck building, but I'd go with something like that:

Allies (14):
4x Guardian of Unaxio
4x Devoted Knight
3x Sabreen, Hand of Unaxio
3x Justicar Alysia

Abilities (13):
2x Healing Touch
3x Focused Prayer
3x Smite
4x Tidal Wave
1x Mass Purification

Items (12):
4x Scriptures of the Righteous
4x Wizent's Staff
4x Rod of Smiting

=39 cards + Hero
-----------------
-1 Sabreen
-1 Justicar Alysia - These allies are unique, so 3 should be enough.
-4 Bad Santa - It's good in large decks, but here you would have enough draw with scriptures and Wizent's staff
-4 Forgiveness - Don't see much sense of having it in this deck, you would have enough resource acceleration with Devoted Knights
-2 Healing Touch - You still will draw it when you need it, but not to often to consider it a dead draw
-1 Focused Prayer - In most matches 3 is just enough
-1 Smite
-4 Righteous Strike - You already have Smite for direct damage and Healing Touch for healing
-2 Mass Purification - This card is useful only in very specific match-ups, in others it is a dead draw

@ Anasia: Looks good to me, thanks! Maybe I'll give Madelain's Scepter a go instead of Wizent's Staff, so I would have to add Bad Santa or Loom of Fate. I personally do see sense of having Forgiveness as well as Righteous Strike in this deck and I'm not sure if 1 MP is enough. I will make some more tests to see which combination works best for me
