Game is great....but

After a long pause on the game due to life, I picked it up again. Still has that magic I fell in love with.....but....I've had multiple disconnects during quick matches.

What gives?

I play on iPad. Is there something I should know?

Welcome back. I have no clue what's causing the disconnects. Do you have option to try elsewhere to rule out your router as a factor in it? Are you on the latest iOS? Have you tried turning off all background apps that might use up your connection while you are playing?

I'm still playing on my ole iPad 2 ( way to keep up w the times kip!). And I don't really have any problems. 3-4G connections can disconnect me more often than on wifi. I did clear my game cashe , had to relaod the library but it seemed to help.

Welcome back, get on TG so you can chat w your TJ buddies in RL, but u can keep it on the DL not interfering w RL.

Just had another thought: try turning off the chat, since the global chat gets updated all the time even if it's hidden to the side unless you turn off chat completely.

Really? That explains a lot! Always lags or gets close to crash when global is running.

Ha! I've played SE on IOS for 4 years. Hardly had any issues at all

Thanks for welcome backs, and tips guys. After 2 disconnects in 2 games last night I gave up and went to bed. Will try tonight. I will say, of all the games I play on the iPad over the last 4 years....this is the only one that disconnects....and as I've got kids.....I've tried a lot of games!

Oh, and to those opponents who face me, and you get a disconnect message, you should know, I never do that willingly. I always go down fighting.
