I have played this deck for a whole month when LL was released. Some powerfull heros came out; Aramia Twilights, Lance Garina Road and Vess wulven. I was wondering how i could beat them while at the same time remaining competitive in the game! So garth the return of the assassin showed up and i had a lot of succes.
My rating was 299 a few days ago before i try some kind of decks just for fun. I hope some people will enjoy playing this deck like i do. Its not only for being competitve, Gath is also very fun to play and with style.

I like the setup with T2 Hit list, T3 sabreen + ability
19 allies is a bit light tho imo

I tryed locations like 3x Garina roads at the start with more fatties untill i realize that it wasn't needed in a Garth's deck. He is one of the best hero for board control, so you have sabreen, gath's concoction, spirit, anklebreaker and viska. You need to destroy your opponent's draw engine asap, so 4x stop thief. You need to stop hasted allies, so there are Brax soldiers.

My general win rate is great. If you are facing Lance Aramia and Vess wulven and you start second second, it's very hard! But if you start first, it will be ok. Like i said, my rating was 299 a few days ago, its not bad for the end of the season. Player A1 liavivian is starting playing the same deck for a few days now, his rating was 304 this morning

I would replace concoction with sinkhole (2x), works against allies with 5 health and has lower cost

Layarian diplomat is a great tech cards. If you are playing against Lance, you will need him. Its also very good for all alllies with passive abilities like Night owl, Tainted oracle, Devoted knight, Brax, protectors...

Honestly i think there is no deck that can beat every other one, same for Gath the return of the assassin. It has his weakness
