Plaguebringers scepter
6cc (mage alignment)
Hero item- weapon
1 attack 4 durability
When your hero deals combat damage to an opposing ally, that allies base attack and health are reduced by 1
1SE: all opposing allies have their base attack and health reduced by 1
This weapon is expensive for a reason. It is effectively a miniature board board wipe in small bursts. In combination of active and passive ability, a single ally would be reduced by 2 attack and 2 health, with an additional damage point of 1 damage. In combination with any other plague allies, a cost of 6cc is most likely needed for balance
scriptures of decay
2cc
Shadow item- artifact
3 durability
1D: if an ally had its bas attack ir health reduced this turn, draw a card
A draw engine for this particular...theme
thanatos plaguebringer
5cc
Shadow ally- undead (unique)
3attack 5health
At the end of your turn, all non undead allies have their base attack and health reduced by 1.
Everybody needs a unique ally right? This is a good effect to make unique, definitely dont need two of these guys running around. Might require the removal of one of the stat reductions, but hard to say with 0 playtesting on a theoretical ally.
kiren blight eyes
3cc
Shadow ally- undead (unique)
3 attack 3 health
All opposing allies have -1 health
A card thats like grimghast in that the effect is there only while hes in play, rather than a permanent effect.
plague beast
4cc
Shadow ally- undead
2 attack 4 health
When plague beast is summoned while your opponent crontrols 3 or more allies, target opposing ally is reduced to 0 base attack
An addition bit of control for the theme. While other cards with similar effects have instakill, this ally is not a tribe exlusive. He would be possible as a splash ally in a control deck (shadow warrior most likely. Because crippling blow can be removed :P )
Alright so, the way i see lore working for this (credit to shrapnel fox) is that these new allies are coming threw the portals from the undead world (its scheuth?), and along with these new allies comes a plague that they are carrying. The allies are relatively weak, but the desease they carry take takes its toll on others. The plague weakens the enemy foes by sapping at their strength (attack) until theyre no longer even capable of moving, and drains their health (well...their health) until theyre no longer capable of staying alive. Now of course due to the availability of the stacking effects...the concept may need some balancing, but i think it has a lot of potential with a lot of flavor.
I'll thank shrapnel fox for expanding on the idea of my original plague corpse. And if anybody (shrapnel) has any other suggestions to add to this theme, please feel free to add them here
