Bug Sac Lamb - Cryptspawn Tormentor - Kiruth: Thaddeus' Vault (not a bug)

Hi!

In my match today vs AP Halalboy we found a bug:

Situation:
Kiruth: Thaddeus' Vault was in play, Cryptspawn Tormentor was in play, I used Sac lamb on Cryptspawn (more than 2 Undead in graveyard) , it goes back to hand and activated with this Kiruth: Thaddeus' Vault.

We wondered about this.
Does Cryptspawn Tormentor goes first to graveyard and than back to hand?

Not a bug.

If you used sac lamb then he was killed (sent to graveyard) then only after that he returns to hand (you don't necessarily see all that happening but thats what happens step by step).

Yeah, this game does have a few scenarios like this that aren't exactly explained by wordings or shown by in game animations. Even ones with clear wordings don't show the animations (like General of Unaxio doesn't show the discarded ability going to the grave first, then bottom of the deck, despite the wording saying that's what happens). Is just easier for in game rendering I guess, but not always clear.

okay then going to the graveyard first makes sense. We were just confused the wording in cryptspawn just says return to hand when killed if conditions met, not returned from graveyard to hand when killed. If the latter is true then will Spirit Warden stop cryptspawn from returning to hand?

^ I would assume Spirit Warden would prevent it, although I personally haven't ever run across that scenario in game.
