(1 damage may be more balanced, but with all the high health allies, two seems best. It would also instantly kill eternal trolls, since its worded with "enters play".)
(also, needs a new name. In just no good with things like that, so...please give suggestions)

Cool idea Umbra

I think inflicting 1 damage, 1 off when an ally comes into play would be too weak for a 3 cost artefact. Especially taking into account Evil ascendant inflicts 1 damage every turn.

How about this as a counter idea.
+ lower cost as ravagers need cheap items to target and destroy
+ Recyclable for ‘item destruction’ builds
+ Damages own allies for “self-harm’ builds
