they tried a forum tournament feature, it didnt pan out. a game feature has been talked about but i am not sure where it is or not.

Forum tournament feature was just an internal Challonge. It made hosting brackets easier, but still had no direct connection to the game.

Internal tourney system should be more interesting. Just hope it comes out with 3.0.

It will be interesting if it ever comes about, but think about this guys, if they launch a in game tourney system, who's gonna run it? Are you willing to volunteer to get it going and make sure people around the globe can play 24/7? I'm just saying that takes resources and I'm not sure they are available at the moment. ( I really hope the op isn't thinking about the campaign update or possible update.)

Timely expansions, like what might happen w Lost lands
Timely responces from support , which I think are doing pretty well
An improved global chat system, no idea how atm, but it's kinda chaotic

it can be run automatically, players join a tournament and pledge they're going to be there for a bit first round is played then the players that won move to the next lobby and if that player doesnt make a move in x time they are disqualified and so on I think its very possible as other tcg games such as pokemon online have made this happen its not unreasonable to ask for it as they've gave spoilers and updates about it. even though stuff from the kickstarter from late 2012ish is now arriving I feel like this would be great to have and this would make an end to a guy having to approve the tournaments and whatnot that being said cant wait for the LL update and I wish it would come sooner as a new set hasnt been released in awhile and I want things to spice up my game
