There's a check mark to make them foil in the pick-a-card ui...guessing you made a mistake there? But yeah send an email to customer support, they should be able to help you.

What??...we have to check a box for Foil?

That seems totally unnecessary. Check a box if you want the "cool" version instead of the uncool version.

I should adopt this policy at my work; check a box if you want your paycheck at end of month, or don't check a box if you want to give-up your paycheck.

But I have no idea what we're even talking about, so nevermind....

Look, support might be able to help, but many of us have made similar mistakes. I just hope your cards were ones you wanted , not just in foil.
