    Exclamation Spectral Sabre bug [2.920]

When Lythian Sledgehammer is in play, Spectral Sabre cannot be summoned to remove an attachment. This is inconsistent with the description text of Lythian Sledgehammer as an equipped weapon is not destroyed when Spectral Sabre is summoned to destroy an attachment.

Seems like it should, same way a Vermin targeting Snare Trap still gets exiled.

A little different considering Vermin's ability destruction does not send it to the graveyard already.

But in order for it to be exiled, it implies that it's on the field before its destruction effect takes place. Should be no different from Artful Squire.

Mujumbo says, "The key distinction here, essentially, is that when you have a Sledgehammer out you simply can't summon a weapon at all."

That does not make sense, because the reason you can't summon a weapon is by equipping a new weapon the existing one is destroyed, which cannot occur for Lythian Sledgehammer because of it's ability. This is not the case when summoning a Spectral Sabre to target an ability as it is never equipped. It should either destroy any previous weapons, or still be able to work whilst Lythian Sledgehammer is equipped.

I agree. Which would rasie another question of how would it's ability work if it is not on the field, even if only for an instant?

Spectral Saber has to be summoned for its effect. Lythian does not allow other weapons to be summoned as it would remove Hammer.

I'm sorry, but if Spectral Sabre was summoned as you say it would destroy any other weapon as well. There is a contradiction here.
