    Reactive Repair

    Reactive Repair
    Cost: 3
    Type: Hunter Item - Trap
Ability: When a weapon or armor you control is destroyed, return it to play with +1 attack/defense and only 2 durability.

    • Effectively gives a weapon +2 durability for a cost of 3. The +1 attack/defense is to compensate for having a card in play which adds to the total ‘abilities/items” controlled and allowing for it to be countered.
    • All hunter can enjoy an equal benefit (doesn’t favour a hero, as all bonuses applied to the weapon/armor are lost on destruction)
    • Could possibly be used in a Ravager build, targeting a weapon/armor with 1 durability for an item destruction bonus and then still having a weapon/armor in play with +1 attack/defense

A few examples, of what the weapon/armor would return as:
Soul Seeker = 3 attack and 2 durability
Wrath of the forest = 2 defense and 2 durability
Charred Cowl of the Damned = 2 defense and 2 durability

Would still mean that Gwen can have her initial pumping of the weapon to make destroying it difficult (outside of item destruction), but then could just bring it back automatically when destroyed, with a bonus already applied. So Soul Seeker comes back as a 3/6 weapon, and can go to 5/8 with Gwen buffing it again? Too strong for 3cc, would have to cost at least, at least like Reserve Weapon. Would be fairer I think if it came back with 1 attack and 2 durability, rather than a +1/+2 off its base stats. I get the Ravager thing though, could also maybe change the condition, so that it only works when it gets destroyed by your own ability that would kill it or something.

Just right now seems it would be too insane for Gwen.

Honestly, just having the weapon or armor being returned to play is good enough, and possibly too powerful for 3cc.
4cc may be much more balanced. This too may be too powerful however. Imagine charred cowl of the damned coming out, and having to destroy it twice. While also having to kill swarms of the undead twice.
It would combo well with survivalist however, as it would be two items destroyed at once.

    I didn't communicate that correctly.

When a weapon or armor is destroyed it is returned with +1 attack/defense and ONLY 2 durability.

A few examples, of what the weapon/armor would return as:
Soul Seeker = 3 attack and 2 durability
Wrath of the forest = 2 defense and 2 durability

    Do you mean Meltdown ?

As yes -> this would enable card draw and a +1 'damage' boost to a weapon.

So Night Prowler will be a twice as good armor when it bounces back with a 3cc card compared to 5cc the original. And my twice attack enabled hero can finally steal you twice even if you have a weapon out.

It could be restricted to weapons and armors cost 4cc or less; it would solve the Night Prowler and 5atk SS Gwen problems (amongst many potential others).
I think it would be more balanced (yet still powerful in the right situation) this way.

Didn't think of that combo - which would be ridiculous

Great idea limiting it to 4 cost or less. Would it still be playable? Most 4 cost items have 4 durability... would a player be better off paying 1 extra resource summoning the weapon/armor normally for the whole 4 durability? Does the +1 attack/defense sufficiently compensate?
