It´s clasic on sumon pasive ability so Groundshift will prevent to use Artful Squire as and item destruction but you can use it as ally of course!

It would block lance and not raikka...the same keyword issue as layarian diplomat

Did just realize something with this card. I at first thought that being a support ability that this card would make a good combination with Valley of Secrets. But no, you'd just exile Valley of Secrets with this. Here's hoping there are other good support abilities coming to make VoS worth it.

Also a nice stealth killer for human since they dont have nocturnal advantage :-)

That's a question I had actually. I think the way its supposed to work well with valley of secrets is when the opponent plays a location on top of valley of secrets, you play this and that location is exiled, putting valley of secrets back on top. However, I'm unsure how that will work. Will it still activate valley of secrets in this way? If it doesnt, then would that mean if valley of secrets were the active location and this was played, would ravencrest activate before it is exiled? I need to know that interaction before I can write my review for this card

^ If there was another location on top of VoS I don't think VoS would trigger, cause you summon Groundshift, exile the other location, then VoS would become active, but Groundshift was already summoned, so it missed the timing for VoS.

If VoS was already active, then Groundshift is summoned I would have to think that VoS does at least get to trigger before getting exiled, assuming Standard Resolution order. Still isn't as synergistic as I'd like.
