Necromancer's Shroud

If Necromancer's Shroud is destroyed the same turn its ability is used, the returned ally doesn't die but it is still readied. Shouldn't it also "lose readied"?

Hi. Readied is not an ongoing effect. It is a one-shot effect that happens and then is considered done, like gaining base attack, taking damage, or being exiled. Hope that helps.
