looks op to me... The summoning is a +, but not necessary.
The -X attack 4 opponent shadow energy should force the opponent to safe is SE, but when I use Shadowspawn next turn?

But lets wait for the release, maybe there are nice "Almor" counters.

I hope we can expect to see in-hand indications of cc adjustments, since there will be many effects like this in the game after this expansion (adding to the ones we already had)

Hmm. After doing plenty of rummaging, I thing I've come up with this guy's ideal hero. None other than moonstalker. Three SE ability shadow hero's seemed like the best bet do to shadow spawn. Moonstalker already has great synergy with all the other squishy aldmors, especially darklight apprentice, who can help give moonstalker infinity stealth. They synergize amazingly with the perfect "I'll help you to help me" relationship. Since moonstalker is the best bet hero to keep aldmor allies on the board, he'll have the greatest chance of seeing this card out early. As early as turn four with a perfect hand and the perfect opponent matchup. (Cause you know, that happens often)
It's a rough sketch of an idea, the deck balancing will need to be done after LL drops, assuming no card changes are made before it's release
