Hearthstone killed all other digital TCG games like WOW killed MMO's

The one thing that hs doesn't have, that i hate about se, is the ability for poor sportsman to berate you with nasty chat messages. I love both of them but left se for awhile due to that. If somone is winning, why does calling the other player names make your win any more gratifying? The only other thing that i wish se had was the ability to outright buy packs with PayPal instead of have to buy crystals and then buy the packs. I never buy them due to that ridiculous model. Sell me a pack for 2.99 and I would be happy.

The more interesting this is what got me into se in the first place was that aside from the quest element the game plays almost exactly like the original WoW physical card game. I would have even called it a blatant copy.

You can turn off chat btw

It's been an option since before Dark Prophecies came out. Unfortunately you will miss out on all the friendly chat too. This is what annoys me about the reverse in HS - they assume everyone is a jerk and only let you hit 6 buttons for some basic phrases. We assume most people are reasonable and offer the mute-like option for the rare case of jerks.

I agree it makes it harder to make a legit friend

Funny thing is, for some reason I always get the jerks. So I tend to assume the worst. I have even had people friend me in hs after i beat them just so they can tell me to f off. I am a generally trusting dude but for some reason, these games bring out the worst in people. It has not stopped me from playing either however.
