King of the Hill - 4cc Human Ally - 3/5

Whenever a location you control is destroyed or whenever a player plays a location over yours, return the destroyed or overwritten location to your hand.


It's not an inherently strong card. A 4cc 3/5 is kind of mediocre and even the ability is conditional. I don't know how important locations are going to be in the future but if they are, a card like this could definitely do work.

As always, if somebody else has come up with similar designs, feel free to point it out and post a link to the said card.

I'm looking forward for a skill like "All locations are destroyed. While 'x card' is in play locations can't be summoned". Just in case i prefer the classic gameplay style.

Or a Location such as:

Shadow Gateway Cavern T6
Controller: Opponents may not play lands + buff (I.e. at the start of your turn the top card of your opponents grave is exiled)
Non-Controller: 5SE: + benefit (I.e. Target item or ally is exiled)

Location can still be destroyed

What is this "location" stuff you speak of?

I use a GPS to find my way around.

My location is America. West Coast. Unfortunately, my Land likes to take other people's Lands, so I'm not too worried about losing my Land.
