    [310+ rating] Garth - Darkest Assassin 2

    Garth Ravensoul

    Allies (22):

    2x Nightshade
    4x Skilled Ironmonger
    3x Aldon the Brave
    3x Layarian Seductress
    4x Night Owl
    3x Braxnorian Soldier
    2x Viska, The Scarlet Blade
    1x Oliver Fagin

    Abilities (8):

    3x Garth's Concoction
    4x Stop, Thief!
    1x A Legend Rises

    Items (10):
    2x Hit List
    4x Ill-Gotten Gains
    4x Anklebreaker

Plays like standard rogue control. Garth is prob best rogue to play right now as he has best MU vs Elementalis which seems is the most popular hero atm. I am having over 90% win rate vs him. Other good MU is allied Moonstalker which is also fairly common to see on ladder.

Bad MU seem to be stall oriented decks like Millstalker and Skervox, despite me having 4 Stop Thief. Too much draw on their side, fairly low health minions on mine, too many targets for item destruction, make these games very hard to win.
Another bad one is if Aramia opens up with series of PotL and rush you too hard early on. I had Spelleater Bands in deck but in this scenario its very luck based to draw that one copy on time so I just scrapped it and added one more Ironmonger for stronger early game.

Other MUs I would call fair, alongside 50% win rate.

All in all solid deck especially if you see a lot of dreaded Elementalis. Always go anti-meta!

Sure, why not. I didn't feel the need for it, butvuts good card overall, albeit bit better with Serena.

Sword Thief doesn't stop an enemy from using their ability, which can be a bad thing against Stardust Extractor.

Sword thief also stops a Dakrath - I think choosing between the two for rogues is more of a meta call - unless the rogue deck has a high resource curve, in which case sword thief is better. Right now allied MS and Gravebone with Dakrath aren't common threats.

So I dont type everything again here is my views on Sword Thief and Seductress form another thread: http://www.shadowera.com/showthread....l=1#post563544

Regarding Sword Thieficon I agree that it does feel weaker than Seductress, and comparing them would justify changing its stats. Problem is if it has better stats would you run both Sword Thieficon and Seductress in same deck, which alongside Ankclebreaker would mean most of your stuff will be easily dealt with or be delayed. If thief is buffed it would mean in most of the cases going first with Garth he will have board control on t3. Taking back the board from Garth is hard.

    Pros for Stop Thieficon:

Doesn't have resource requirement which is something to take into consideration in a class with resource acceleration in form of Stop Thieficon!
Being a rogue ally it can offer additional synergies within class allies. Right now there is only Good Contactsicon which sucks but we may get good cards in the future.
Works against allies that are immune to disable effects: Karlstrad and Dakrathicon

    Cons:

Weaker stats. 3 health means it gets one shot by: Zal blast, Lighthing Strike, Krygon, any 2 attack ally + buff (Aldonicon, DMT, attachment), 3 attack weapons.
It doesn't actually disable. Right now this is bigger con than pro for allies as Karlstrad and Dakrathicon are rarely played fatties while Hulk is the meta now and he can still activate ability.

Right now I am playing Sword Thief in fun thematic all rogue decks. In competitive decks I play Seductress. Those are places for those allies in my eyes atm.

To sum up its meta call. VS Allied Moon both are good, just keep in check you resources.
