Question about 1.25

First, let me apologize if this has been answered already, but I haven't found it looking through forum posts.

So finally getting 1.25 for iPad... I notice that the multiplayer rewards have been reduced to the single campaign rewards. So I can now only get 100 exp and more importantly, 20 gold each time I win?

That was half the benefit for me to play PVP, to get the rush and rewards of winning. Not to mention that it made it worthwhile when a game would go on for twenty or more minutes.

I'm seriously hoping this is based on ratings and that the higher ratings you are the more you gain. Anyone care to share their results who has been playing 1.25 longer?

Yes you are right. When you play a higher rating you earn more

All I know is between 200-340ish you get 200xp and 40g.

As a standard you get 200xp and 40g. That's halved until you hit a certain rating (I cant remember what that rating is - I believe it's 100).

So basically, win a few games and then you'll start raking it in!

I just read one of my threads and someone told me the XP is based on how many losses you have

That's referring to the exp you get when you keep losing I think. I just played 1 game in 1.25 but I got 200 exp and 40 gold. Rating jumped to 114. So I think 100 is probably the magic number as calmdown mentioned.

With the ratings reset, starting back at zero wasn't a problem for me, but the possibility of not earning more as I reestablished my prior rating was.

I'm very glad it will increase, as it should. The higher your ratings the more you should be rewarded, and conversely so.

To clarify, if you opponent has a rating of 100 or higher, you will earn double rewards. Since the reset, alot of people started out below 100 rating so you'll have a few games where you only earn 100 XP and 20 gold.
