I've always liked bard type characters that specialize in music and songs. Bards can fill the niche of facilitating and empowering the use of ally abilites.
Eg. XSE: Target friendly ally uses its ability at no cost and is then exhausted.
This lets players explore a new strategy revolving around using allies with strong abilities.

I'm also fascinated by time manipulation and time travelling, so a time class would be cool. Perhaps those heroes could manipulate the duration of support abilities or somehow make support abilities more viable to play. Sort of what CoF did for attachments...
Eg. XSE: Target support ability has its duration increased by 1. When that support ability is destroyed, draw 2 cards.
I like both of these but especially the Time Manipulator idea. Anything to boost the existing unused support abilities would be a good idea.

    Assassins (Shadow)
Shadow version of Rogue class, specialize in removal

    Enchanter (Shadow/Human)
Mages that specialize in ally/weapon/armor enhancement via stat and combat manipulation, as well as attachment centered

    Elves (Human)
    Cross between Hunters and Priests

    Ranger (Human)
    cross between Warrior and Hunter

    Shape Shifters (Shadow)
specialize in taking form/abilities of other allies

Treefolk. Like spriggans from elder scrolls. The class could be about harmony and prosperity, lots of cool little synergies and combos that don't seem like much until you string it all together.

I felt people were on the right track in the beginning with the steampunk/clockwork machines. The clockwork machines could be classified as automaton. The heroes could be gnomish inventors. They could fit into a new subclass sort of like how human mages with cards designed around the inventor class. I can see some direct damage cards like a lightning based power surge card. Clockwork machines with variable ways to increase attack and health. Weapons designed like hand drills and wrenches that could be also used to buff an ally for CC or SE along with the regular attack. Lots of possiblites for each hero. I could see them vs ravengers as a classic matchup and blood rivalry.

It is one of my greatest hopes that in the future, mankind achieves enlightenment so high we would not need rules, laws, or government to keep the peace and govern ourselves. By our own motivation and volition, we would do what is right and just because it is right and just. This is the central tenet of anarchy. Not chaos and lawlessness, but free will and self-actualization.

    human class - the underfolk
    28hp two heroes
first one : 3 SE target up to two your allies. All damage to these allies is reduced by three until the start of your next turn.
'' harden your skin, soften their flesh''

I am thinking sth like a cross breed between a cleric and a fighter with attachements.

second one : 4 SE up to two of your opposing allies are disabled until the start of your next turn.
'' come to me my foe, six feet under...''

heavy ally controlled deck with weenies and weapon/armor support from the hero.
