Clear Victory results in defeat???

BP Shadow Mann vs 17 Smeero

I clearly hit his Elad for a winning blow and somehow ended in defeat? I ended the game with 29 health to his zero. As soon as I hit him to take his health to 0 it gave me a defeat screen. Watching the replay shows a victory screen, but I lost the rating and his name is highlighted as the victor...please explain?

Just to be clear...I don't care about the rating or the score...I'm just hoping whatever the issue is doesn't happen again.

any reply? right now this game is the 3rd from the bottom in my history...I will leave it in my history so it can be reviewed and hopefully this issue can be fixed for future games (should never lose a game you dominate and even get the finishing blow during the game)

This has happened in the past.

It's caused by some kind of sync error at the end of the game when both players try to validate the result if I recall correctly.

but shouldn't a sync error end in a draw? (I won this game by hitting his hero bringing down to zero health...yet I got the defeat. If a sync error, shouldn't it end in a draw?)

Hi. Kyle is looking into this, but it's not a simple thing like a card doing the wrong thing, so I don't know how long it will take to find an answer. Thanks for reporting.

thanks, Gondorian. Do I need to keep the game visable in my current history? (Also, this is the only time this has ever happened to me)

Good question. Don't let it stop you playing, since we still have the game logs for everything and could hack our dev client to get at that particular match if it's not in the last 30 you played.
