Thoughts on Templar Threbin?

With v2.9 out, I'm now trying to make a fully Templar-based Threbin. Any thoughts on how to improve this deck?

4x Avenger of the Fallen
4x Devoted Knight
4x Guardian of Unaxio
4x Sindarok Apprentice
2x Justicar Alysia

Abilities:
4x Focused Prayer
3x Smite/Healing Touch (undecided)
3x Zail's Hymn
4x Tidal Wave

Items:
4x Scriptures of the Righteous
4x Rod of Smiting


I'm going for a control-aggro hybrid and maybe Sindarok can help with that. Only four weapons and no Madelain's because I'm not really going for weapon beatdown, and with no forgiveness too much cards with 5cc or above resourced from opening 3 turns can screw me in the long run.

Tried picking up the Staff. It's a nice secondary draw and finisher. Teched in the Mass Purification with all these CoF decks running around with their attachments.

As effective as whatstheirfaces' decks are, I want to try to stop copying others and actually try to build my own damn deck.

So if you have any suggestions other than directing me to just mindlessly copy people's deck, I will appreciate it greatly.

A balance between 3 RoS and 3 Scepter?

You can consider dropping avenger to make space for 2x of Glass and 3x of madelains. Tbh it looks standard since you'll be using the templars to buff your weps.

3 rods is enough, apprentice isnt that great, Tbh templar champ is better, and staff proves another weapon and more draw, and smite is ok but,righteous strike is better

Having a card 4x is given when you need to draw it on your first 3 turns ( around 60% chance to do so)
To which of your allys apply to this rule? Cutting the number of identical allies will give you the posiibilities to add more different allies to react to certain sizuations. and be more flexible.
