    Layarian Diplomat vs Snowland Spotter

My Layarian Diplomat hits my opponent's Snowland Spotter. My opponent can still hit twice in his turn. Is this a bug?

Markmouth2 vs Zyraquis. I think it's the first match.

Any chance the LD was killed, thereby taking away his effect on the Spotter?

Is that supposed to happen? Layarian Seductress's effect doesn't go away when it dies, does it?

I think also Sword Thief. Dunno the game mechanics to explain this.

If that's how it's supposed to work, then I'd argue that the wording on LD is wrong. It should probably say, "When summoned, LD can suppress one opposing ally's passive abilities for as long as LD is in play" or something like that.

Hm, I think it has more to do with the fact that removing passive abilities isn't counted as an effect like Disable or whatever those little hearts are on Sword Thief's ability.

Jasmine, Layarian Seductress, Sword Thief, etc all have a negative effect on an opposing ally (it remains even if they are killed). Removing passives isn't considered a negative effect and only continues to remove the passive ability as long as the card that is removing the passive abilities remains in play.

That doesn't make a lot of sense. If this is true, then I think a slight change of wording would be in order. On the other hand, we could leave the wording and just change the interaction to match LS and ST.

It really just doesn't feel intuitive.
