    Breaking Cleric's Mantle

This card seems to have the potential to be broken so I've been toying with the idea for a awhile. I have dabbled with many different Heros and I finally landed on Zaladar. Feedback and Mimic make the combo explode at around 8-10 resources. This deck has only gone through a couple games but won both against 300's. Lots of fun.

    4 Bazaar
    4 Loom of Fate
    4 Bad Santa
    4 Feedback
    4 Mimic
    4 Word of The Prophet
    2 Rain Delay
    2 Meltdown

    4 Spitfire Hound
    3 Cleric of the Assyn
    2 Ravager Zealot

    4 Thriss Almanac
    2 Obelisk of Echos
    2 Cleric's Mantle

    Playing this deck:

The idea is get to 8 or 9 resources and win shortly after. If you set up a Assyn with a Thriss Almanac and then blow up 3 items with Cleric's Mantle ability Assyn smacks for 24. If you can activate Obelisk of Echos it's even easier to pull off.

You try to draw cards early on with Bazaar and loom of fate, saving your bad Santa. Use word of the prophet to shuffle crucial pieces back into your deck like: bad Santa, mimic, feedback and some item destruction. If you can squrriel away 1 Meltdown and 1 Ravager Zealot these are nice pieces too.

8 or 9 resources is the magic number. You can then add pieces of the puzzle. For example: Cleric Assyn, Thriss Almanac, Feedback. Bad Santa, Mimc, Feedback Etc.

I thought about all of them Bloodlust, Mindless Ferocity, Super Focus etc. They all have their perks. Mindless costs 2. Mark of the feared is the one i was probably going to try. Doubles as an ally killer and can be mimicked back to your ally.

So I have played it a bit more and the deck flashes real potential! It still needs some adjustments, but a better player than I might really be able to do some work.

I think maybe a bigger variety of items and or abilities might help. Probably should add Antimatter and Crystal Shards. That way you can put more cards down on the board as opposed to holding copies. Loom of Fate is definitely better than Bazaar. Might only need 1-2 bazaar.

Yeah but MotF will only work on Cleric, itll kill your other allies. I wouldnt run it. Id pick Ferocity over it because theres no activated abilities it will stop.

I think mark of the feared is the better play. Ferocity would dilute the deck. You will not end up playing it early meaning you have to hold on to it. I would rather sacrifice that play always. On the other hand you might play MotF at any point to kill an ally giving it versatility like Thriss Almanac. Then later on it can be mimicked back to help your CoA.

The other allies don't hit on the board. I was playing with 9 allies. You need 3-4 of those allies to execute the kill shot.

I just came up with a decent MS mantle deck. It has won its last 6 or so in a row.

    3 Spitfire Hound
    4 Cleric of the Assyn
    3 Ravager Zealot
    4 Muderous Hulk

    2 Jewelers Dream
    2 Captured Prey
    3 Shadow Font
    3 Bad Santa
    4 Blood Moon
    2 Loom of Fate
    3 Obelisk of Echoes
    3 Clerics Mantle
    3 Thriss Almanac

Have you considered a shadow mage deck with this? Cleric's Mantle removes negative effects as well so you could use it with Voice of Winter.

I tried a Feedback deck with it. It's amazing when it works, but the problem with these decks is that it's too reliant on one winning strategy. Also, it's kind of slow (earliest I can start making good use of Feedback is at 6 resources). Furthermore, you need good card draw to keep up the destruction of items, and elementals don't really have the best draw.
