Banish on Soulbound Armor

Don't know any more, when it occurred, but i used Banish on a Soulbound Armor, after it became an ally.

It didnt get shuffled into the deck, instead it stayed on the monster field, but its owner said he could not attack with it any more. (I think he discarded a second card with it a few turns later and afterwards could attack with it)
Don't know if it counted as a armor again, because i didnt attack the other player.

Think even if Banish is not supposed to work on Soulbound Armor this isnt the way it should go.
Retreat! could make a similar failure, btw.

It is, but I think it bugged trying to shuffle it back in as a monster as opposed to a piece armor.
