    What deck do you recommend?

Somewhat experienced Magic DOTP player here. I just got this game yesterday after a friend recommended it to me.

I'm really enjoying it. I accidentally clicked on Boris as a starter deck, so I've been just using that deck and building on it. I'm ready to start building my second deck. I'm not really looking for a deck that's easy to use. Perhaps something that's the complete opposite of the typical Boris build?

    Thanks

Complete opposite, hmmm, perhaps a stall deck?, and I can't believe I'm saying this cause I hate stall decks , but Moostalker or Praxix or Servox do a pretty mean stall game. ( that's assuming your Boris was a control type deck)

Personally I like Mages and rouges.

Or just go to the opposite side and pick a Shadow hero to build on.

Depends what Boris you're building. Haste or Control but since you just started I'm assuming control so... Haste decks are fun, Eladwen is a good choice and for MUCH slower games check around the forums for a good priest deck. You can go shadow side and use fair and balanced heroes with their completely underpowered abilities like Zaladar (Free lightning bolt every 4 turns) and Moonstalker (Stealth every 3 turns, basically untouchable)

I'm running a haste build for sure. Just won a quick match on my 5th turn.

Eladwen is where you ought to start.

Boris is quite good imo and can control very well so maybe you can try and shift from a haste build to a control one and get to know playing him more.

Anyways, if you really want to try out other heroes, i suggest going to the shadow side and try out Banebow (pretty versatile) or Baduruu (weapon based hero) for diversity. If you want a rush type deck, of course theres Eladwen as suggested by Jacqui... theres also Loest or Aramia.

See, you have 32 heros to choose from all with dif abilties and playstyles. That's the fun of starting a new hero and building a good deck, knowing if you get bored or frustrated there are many more to choose from.

Being the best is great, but playing with friends , learning and having fun is why this game still exists!

I'll take a look at Eladwen. Much appreciated.
