They range from 6150 gold to 7100 gold, compared to an elemental class deck at 2445 gold. No, I'm not going to tell you which ones are worth the most.

I really like the new art and most of the rebalancing but I don't get the logic behind selling your foils for gold... Does anyone actually do that? I'm all for a system where you have to sell 2 or 3 foils in order to get the one you are looking for, even more if it's a particularly valuable one, but the way it is now doesn't make sense to me. Are there any plans to ever be able to buy SC with gold?

I guess it was easy to implement so they went with that for now.

If I'm not mistaken, it allows you turn a foil into a regular card of equivalent rarity which could be relevant for players that don't have a full playset.

True.. I realized that yesterday. It makes sense that a foil sold can buy you its non-foiled counterpart..

I guess its easy to think that "Gold" has a Shadow Crystal equivalency, but it really doesn't.. which is weird.

All foils are of equal rarity, so its safe to say that a single foil is worth 100 sc, which is equal to $1.00 (based on the price of the premium foil pack).

So all foils are worth the same amount of sc, but not all foils are worth the same amount of Gold.

Another way to think about it is, when you win a game in QM, you get 400 gold. But you only get 25sc per level up, and leveling up will take you more and more games accomplish each time.

So, based on the way this currently works, gold would never ever be able to buy you SC.

you can now sell foils, but they are not available for re-purchase in the merchant. so once sold it poof vanishes never to be seen again.

I think its fair for a free to play game to have one form of currency that is tough to get for free (not impossible) that is geared more towards big purchases and cosmetic stuff. While I'd like to have all the foil cards possible, I don't really see it as a community need. Also, there's always pick-a-card.

I still hope we will see different art for cards like Twilight Ritualist, Demetreyo, Twilight Extremist, Viska, The Scarlet Blade, and some others ..
