    Control Deck Needed

I haven't played in a few years, and the deck I was grinding toward is long since out of date, so I need a hand.

I'm looking for a basic, newbie friendly control deck that can transition to something more metagame friendly as I accumulate better cards. Preferred heroes are Zaladar, Majiya, and Eladwen. Any suggestions?

Well with the current meta I suggest Amber, Victor, or Boris. Warriors seems more new player friendly. Check out the forum there are lots of decks to choose from.

Boris is a very good start since he has a good control ability and one of the best disablers in Crippling Blow. Coupled with Yari Marksman you have a solid answer to fatties immune to his ability. Plus you have access to weapon/armor destruction in Smashing Blow and other human goodies like Layarian Seductress.

Eladwen also has good cards for control like Transmogrification Curse and the aforementioned Seductress.

I like the term "newbie friendly". That's funny in do many ways.

Any deck is that friendly, I mean how would you know if your new?

But the guys above have some good ideas, or you could take Elad rush and throw in a few Voice of winter and snow Saphire. Retreat and freezing grip help to.
But if it's ally control, go with the Warriors.

Anywho, welcome back. Thanks for the laugh.

By "newbie friendly" I meant a deck that can be built from the initial, basic card pool - basically cheap and easy.
