Please note that if you don't use any Shattered Fates cards in your deck then you will only be matched with other people who don't use Shattered Fates. I don't have the numbers to hand, but my guess would be that most people by now are using SF, so you might be waiting longer to pair with someone who isn't.

Thanks for the replies. I ended up giving up on joining a game. But the issue may be wifi.

After posting this I noticed that the wifi in this building is kind of flacky at the moment.

For the record I was playing a deck that included SF cards.

Ah ok. Probably a connection issue then. There are about 10 games per minute on Quick Match on 2.88. Even if there's no one from your rating waiting, the match-making starts expanding the permissible gap to pair you after a minute or something like that. Sorry you had to give up though.
