    Last days for Growing Bog Dweller?

    Hello all,

    We've seen a lot of hard work going in throughout the year to balance the SF release and this is clearly evident.
    Before the SF release is finalized, I'm curious as to everyone's opinion on Growing Bog Dweller. At 5 cost, he's the most costly homunculus, yet is seldom seen due to his extremely costly ability to grow, in comparison to other allies.

    Example comparison:

    Growing Bog Dweller (5 cost)
    2: Target other friendly ally is killed and
    Growing Bog-dweller gains +2 base attack
    and +2 health

    Cost of growing +2/+2:
    - 1 card
    - 2 resources
    - x resources for summoning ally
    - (must have ally in play and thus using ability is sensitive to kill traps)

    Knight of Unaxio (4 cost)
    Steadfast. 0: Target ability in your hand is
    discarded: Knight of Unaxio gains +2 base
    attack and +2 health.

    Cost of growing +2/+2:
    - 1 card
    *additionally he also has steadfast

    Does anyone believe Growing Bog Dweller is currently a viable card in comparison to other choices available such as Knight of Unaxio?
    If not, suggest what tweak could make growing bog dweller a card worthy of inclusion in a deck. (And even how it would complement the deck style and tribe without being over powered)

    you froget to add one advantage to bog (or mini advantage), that an ally can attack, then bog can "eat" him enjoy bonus and attack by himself (unlike knight that discard a card from hand)
    The ability to "eat" allies from board also make him kind of a tech card vs crippling abilities
    Still he is not very good
    He might work is suicide builds (works well with Twilight tribe)
    In the beginning the Universe was created.
    This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

    I've thought the same about him. He just doesn't fit the other Homunculus guys at all in terms of effect (considering you don't really want to kill those guys overly much probably), whereas he fits in perfectly with Twilight, almost as if he's the 5cc "boss" sorta creature they don't really have. Although at this late stage I doubt we'll see a change that drastic, as changing his tribe would certainly necessitate a new artwork, and we sure as hell don't need to be wasting any more time getting all of those in. At least when Rapacious Vermin went from a Homunculus to a Ravager his artwork still fit for his new trible, Bog Dweller wouldn't, his name wouldn't even fit really. Maybe he'll just get some sort of general buff.

    I don't see how his current artwork fits as a human ally.

    The artwork could be moved to another ally as they did for old Oliver Fagin artwork

    His ability should cost nothing and it would be viable i think.

    Thanks pjoe0211, I've corrected the cost.

    Maybe we should also be discussing whether knight of unaxio is also over powered for his cost :P

    So it's established that Growing Bog Dweller's ability doesn't currently compliment homonuculus allies.
    It's too late in the development of the release cycle for major changes, so what are some suggestions which would make the card more playable and have better synergy with current homonuculus allies?
