Play Layarian Diplomat on Twilight Opportunist and TO can active her ability and not die. Seems she should since her ability is not passive but active right?

Heya,

Twilight Opportunist's activated ability gives her a temporary passive ability that causes her to die at the end of the turn. Summoning Layarian Diplomat and using his effect on the Opportunist will cause that temporary passive ability to be removed. As such, Twilight Opportunist stays alive to fight another day.
