FFDP version is soooooo bad. And I don't want anyone to think that I mean bad like cool. I mean bad like horrible or terrible or unlistenable. It is even worse than their cover of Bad Company which was horrible and terrible and unlistenable. And it begs the question why a group of musicians who seem otherwise competent would continue to just plagiarize other musicians work but in a really bad way.

That's why they are covers, they didn't make the idea as their own, they covered as in a tribute and put their own style to it,
Now that's out of the way I do like the originals as well, I do like classic, but I'm more in tuned with modern becAsue I do like modern metal.
Everyone's entitled to that opinnion. But either way the songs to me, both versions are unique, and I Belive ffdp is keeping the memory of the song alive. If it wasn't for bands like them. 20 years from now who's going to know who wrote the original? To me metal is metal and rock will be rock. Nothing's classic, that's Beethoven and Bach. Metal ftw! And I won't lie I didn't like bad company's original. It was poetic but the music could have been better imo

I've heard of them but future generations will hear of ffdp before animals. That's becAsue ffdp is more recent hopefully I'm wrong on that becAsue the music between mid 60s and and late 80s really rocked.
