What if... Hero's Health all stayed the same?

Many trading cards games I've seen all have their main characters such as the player (yes that's you!) all have the same HP.
Yu-Gi-Oh have its power meter thingy, Hearthstone heroes all have 30 hp and MTG all have 20 hp.
Shadow era is unique in the fact that some characters have less hp such as Mages with 26hp and Warriors with 30hp, but does this create a sort of imbalance? What if all heroes health were the same? Would the game be more balanced around it?
    Just some food for thought

It's all based on the card pool each class has available to them. Mages have lower HP at 26 because of their many direct damage cards, Priests also have 26 because of their healing capabilities and many good control cards like Tidal Wave. Warriors are just the brute strength guys, and don't have as many cards to heal or affect the entire board. Hunters, Wulvens and Elementals are just right in the middle, and Rogues are the weird ones with 27. But I sure as hell wouldn't want to see a Mage with 30 base HP. Would be a little too good.

    It's for balance purposes.

Also, going with a classic RPG game theme, Mages (And Priests which were sometimes just a specialized supportive Mage) usually had the lowest base health, while Warriors usually had the highest.

Basically everything at this point is balanced with the assumption that heroes get the health that they have. Changing that now changes everything, and all of a sudden we'd have to reexamine a lot of cards (like fireball) for balance. Not like there is a choice (since the cards are already printed) but even if there was a choice, this would be a bad one. You'd be like that jerk who ruins Jenga by only going for the bottom pieces. All of the existing balance rests on shadow abilities and health of the different heroes.

Different HPs on different heroes is the right way to deal with the different choice of card pools for each of those heroes.

Rather then choosing any available card for your deck, like in mtg, you are restricted to a limited pool suiting to your hero. This makes deck building very interesting and is one of the main. Reasons why I prefer SE over mtg
