Logan - Why is he weak?

I am still learning this game, but I'm starting to develop an understanding of what makes each class tick.

Logan's ability seems good on paper, though with a cost of 4 SE and a few other requirements - weapon in hand, allies on opponent's board - it could be a little tricky to use or sometimes slightly useless.

That said, why is he such an underperformer? Is it the options available to a Shadow Warrior in general? Or perhaps simply what I mentioned above?

Meant this for Warrior strategy, if it can be moved. Thanks.

Well, back in the day he did cost only 3SE, and was considered extremely OP if you can imagine such a thing as that, lol. Blood Frenzy did also cost 2 back then as well. But yeah, part of it is that he now costs 4SE and you do need a weapon. Compared to other hero abilities that effect allies (like Eladwen) which don't outright kill the ally necessarily, but they don't have to have an extra card to really make use of the ability. I guess Logan is a bit better now with Sledgehammer, but he's still really weak.

He has a good match-up against Serena though (as long as your smart enough to not give her your hammer!)

Logan is weak because he ate too many crayons as a child.

It's too easy to kill an ally nowadays. Why do you need 4SE and a weapon...

This logic would invalidate many heroes' special moves.

Like who? All other heroes with offensive abilities can deal lethal damage, except maybe for Victor but at least he gets a draw from it.
