    Talking The King of Layar

Hey, I did some editing with my Rothem deck and it works better than before.

Unfortunately, we can't still expect Rothem to be that competitive because from my experience, it's a challenge to keep at par with most t1 decks since relatively fewer cards in the set seem to have no convenient synergies with him.

Anyway, enjoy! Feel free to test it out and use for your pleasure especially if you love Rothem and Warrior decks.

    1x Rothem, King of Layar

    (1 Hero)

    2x Infernal Gargoyle
    2x Ironhide Karash
    2x Magma Jackal
    3x Spitfire Hound
    2x Cleric of the Asyn
    3x Ravager Zealot
    2x Murderous Hulk
    2x Thriss Demolitionist
    1x Dakrath

    (19 Allies)

    2x Blood Frenzy
    2x Bloodlust
    2x Sacrificial Lamb
    2x Rain Delay

    (8 Abilities)

    2x Jeweler's Dream
    1x Dragon's Tooth

    (3 Weapons)

    2x Rothem's Visage

    (2 Armors)

    3x Crown of Ages
    2x Thriss Almanac
    2x Obelisk of Echoes

    (7 Artifacts)

    39 Cards + 1 Hero = 40 Total

Infernal Gargoyle Ironhide Karasha Magma Jackal Dakrath are allies for controlling the board against enemy allies and some weapons your enemies may use.

Dragon's Tooth serves the same purpose, which is to control the board against huge allies.

The combos of the deck are as follows:

    Turn 1:

    Obelisk of Echoes

Use it in the future as a sacrifice to Spitfire Hound or Ravager Zealot, or for destroying enemy items and abilities whenever you kill an enemy ally in the future.

    Turn 2:

    Spitfire Hound

If you have Crown of Ages in hand so you can swing 3 damage on turn 3.
You may also sacrifice Obelisk of Echoes when you cast spitfire hound to kill the enemy.

    Ironhide Karash

If the enemy already has two allies with 1-2 damage and if he might have another one coming.

    Crown of Ages

If you want to cast Spitfire Hound next turn and sacrifice this so you may be able to kill two enemy allies next turn.

    Turn 3:

    Blood Frenzy

While the board is still uncrowded for your future draws.

    Cleric of the Asyn

If you know that next turn, an item or ability will be targeted and destroyed by the enemy. Also if you will sacrifice Obelisk of Echoes or Crown of Ages next turn to Spitfire Hound or Ravager Zealot.

    Thriss Almanac

If you have a Ravager in play and/or if the enemy has a lot of allies of low health so Thriss Almanac's sustain will not trigger thus, it will be destroyed to deal 2 damage to each enemy ally.

    Infernal Gargoyle

If there is/are enemy ally/allies which is difficult to deal with due to high health or other reasons.

    Turn 4:

    Murderous Hulk

Only when you're certain he'll live to use the ability next turn because it's a shame if he won't make it.

    Thriss Almanac

If you have Ravager allies in play which you intend to boost damage up to the next couple of turns.

    Jeweler's Dream

Play this if you have a lot of cards in hand and you happen to have a 2CC Card like Spitfire Hound Ironhide Karash Crown of Ages

    Magma Jackal

To manage the board against enemy allies that are difficult to kill or to simply have more control over the board.

And for Turns 5 up to the Final Turn, combinations of the cards mentioned in previous turns can be used together with the high CC Cards.

    Notes:

    Rain Delay

is a little bit more complicated to use than the other cards. I recommend using it if the enemy has several allies and you happen to have a Spitfire Hound or Ravager Zealot in your hand. Just sacrifice Rain Delay on your next turn to any of them and try to decrease the ranks of enemy allies or go for the kill with Ravager Zealot.

    Rothem's Visage and Dakrath

If you manage to play these two cards, you have a very secure position in the game because enemy attacks won't go through so easily to both your hero and Dakrath. Also the Haste ability of Rothem's Visage will surely help in finishing the enemy for you.

Well, that's it. I really like this Hero and it would be great if more people would use Rothem.
