Things Loest should ALLWAYS target

There are certain things that I thing Loast should pretty much allways target to eliminate. Wanted your opinions on it.

1) key ally that will win you board control back. I actually used it on a puwen today in mid game. I hated doing it but it very likely won me the game.

2) permanent draw engines. Blood frenzy tomb of knowledge etc. won't use it on blood moon as that expires anyways.

3) beefy fat allies.

4) armor or weapons that will shift the tide too much. Snow sapphire and ankle breaker come to mind. I prefer to use poor quality on ankle however the armours can really wreck your day. For me this included rapid fire and speed strike

I think it's simpler than that - target 1) opponent's counter strategy and 2) opponent's win condition.

Sometimes the draw engine is part of the win condition, other times it's not. For example, if I'm playing Serena vs a Loest rush, I've cleared the board of Loest's allies and put out an IGG. IGG is my draw engine, but depending on how Loest plays, I may not have many allies to destroy - so why would Loest target my IGG? It's not going to help me win at this point. If I play a Cutlass, then I can steal some cards and that can be my counter strategy / win condition. But if I follow it up with a Spelleater Bands then that's much stronger as a counter strategy.

Really, in the end Loest needs at least a few removal options aside from his ability, and the ability should be used as a tempo boost as needed when it's available. If a card was worth the opponent wasting their whole turn 5 or 6 on, then it's probably worth destroying, especially if you can do that without losing tempo.

This is very true. I was doing so so with my Loest deck. But the minute I added poor quality into the mix so so went to fantastic.
